Now I will share my experience with all of you. In the year 2017 when I was 8 years old. I went during the time there were white nights. They usually last for around 80 evenings. I was there for a week. Its one of the loveliest places. We went for a boat ride at 1:30 am. At around 1 o clock they open the bridges. There are bridges which help you cross over the rivers. At this specific time when huge ships need to pass, and are larger than the bridge, the bridge divides into half, and opens up. It is a beautiful sight. It also wasn't very dark because of the white nights. In my hotel room I had to close the curtains at around 2;00 am because the sun was very bright. I had a completely different sleep cycle. I highly recommend to go to Russia during the white nights. Its a lovely experience.
